Tom Prichard Our Last Rat of Tobruk

The death of Mr. Tom Prichard who served at an ambulance attendant at Tobruk, joining Army at 19 years-of-age in 1940 died.

With his death as the last Rat, means Australia has lost its last living link to one of the most cherished chapters of the Anzac Story. The Rats defied the Axis war machine for 242 days in North Africa in 1941 to forge the legend of the Rats of Tobruk.

May he and all the Rats, along with all who served in conflict,

REST IN PEACE
