The Catholic Military Chaplains around Australia gathered for their annual retreat at the Marist Hermitage Mittagong NSW over the week 5-10 November 2017.
Some twenty chaplains attended with Bishop Max Davis. A number of chaplains were unable to attend due to deployment and two were undertaking initial military courses as part of their induction into the Australian Defence Force. One of the highlights of the week was the presence of the Hon Tim Fischer, former Deputy Prime Minister and Ambassador to the Vatican.
