Fr Damian is a priest for the Catholic Diocese of the Australian Military Services and is the Faith Group Catholic Lead for the Australian Army. Chaplain Styles is currently serving as a Senior Chaplain within the Australian Army based at Randwick, New South Wales and has served in multiple military establishments across Australia.
In the Australian Army, Fr Damian has been a Tank Crewman, part of the Army Reserve, and has experience in security work in crowd control and guard work. He was ordained in 2005. Fr Damian enjoys participating in most sports and still attempts to run around the Australian Rules Football field on occasion remembering the glory days of his youth. One of his new hobbies is kayaking.
